So, tonight's the big night, and I actually might watch this one.
Something tells me that this is going to be an absolute debacle.
I just wonder how over the top the Democrats are going to be (especially Nancy) in their adulation to try to provide cover for the fact that Biden's popularity is cratering and initial polls of his handling of the Ukraine crisis aren't exactly favorable.

Inflation, gas prices, and shortages will all be blamed on Ukraine (the media is already pushing this narrative). Because as we all know gas was $1.65 and the shelves were full before last week.
I’m sure some monumentally stupid actions concerning Russia will be announced.

Honestly, I hope he doesn't fall apart. This is a pretty big event and I don't want the President of the United States embarrassing himself during the State of the Union. This is bigger than the normal press conferences.
That said, I don't expect to like any of the things he manages to say.

IMO, it was nothing more than a fluff speech. I don't even know if he addressed that he has been in office for a year already. It struck me that he addressed 3 or 4 issues with "We will cut the cost of XXX". No detail at all on how that is supposed to happen.

He's referring to Biden being heckled. Interestingly, when Trump was heckled, there was no condemnation from anyone on the left, including the caucus leader that ripped up Trump's speech.
My POV is that there shouldn't be any heckling during the SOTU address by or against any party. There are other venues for disagreement. It seems like turnabout is fair play though, if for nothing else than to see more evidence of MSM bias.
Also, Psaki said Biden "didn't have time" to mention the 13 dead soldiers. Bullshit.

She's a black woman - what more do you need to know? ;/ He probably wanted to say something about her being the first black lawyer-woman that's bright and articulate and clean, but they told him not to.
Now that I think about it, the Party probably realizes that the less she's associated with him, the better.

I caught one statement in the speech that I still have issues believing. Some where in there he stated 30% of inflation was caused by automobile prices. I do know that used auto prices are up by about 30% but I am not sure how that relates to being 30% of the total inflation. I haven't heard anyone refuting it yet though. So, can one market item cause an equal overall inflation rise?
