The ones who say "Alexa, please do something," and the ones who say "Alexa, do something."

You forgot the type that don't let that spying ho in the house. But say please, the robots may keep some nice ones as pets.

"Alexa, you and Siri need to try harder to get along with Cortana . . ."
-
The 4th kind, the ones who see a internet wiretap in people's houses and say "Alexa or Siri, please loud horror sounds at 3am"

I played around with one at a relative's house. Pretty fun, but I'm also not going to put one in my house. [tinfoil]

We have some in our house. I routinely tell Alexa to add enriched U235 and weapons grade Pu239 to the shopping list.
Edited to say maybe not routinely, but every couple of months at least. >:D No doubt that's got me on a couple more lists.

There are 10 types of people. Those who know binary and those that don't.
There are two types of people, those that are good with lists and .... that other one.

Are those the same ones who turn off their phone and remove the battery and only install when making a call? Maybe the same people who unplug their Smart TV when not actively watching and even then they watch in silence so they can't be targeted. As much as it pains me, we have become a society of electronic spies and being spied upon. It doesn't help when the .gov is trying to link everyone's Ring cameras into a surveillance network or setting up fake cell towers so they can collect data, but of course that is only for their targets, I am sure they purge everything else.

They just get the Faraday bag. =)

You'd think sooner or later they'd be swamped with too much data, but nowadays with gigabytes of storage on a wee tiny card....

I am pretty close to it. Until very recently I live in a no cell service area. I put the phone away. Considering the faraday box and eventually a device that never comes near my other devices or connects to my internet. Certainly conscious of where I browse and what I say.

Hell, I know I'm on lists...

I figure if I'm not on at least a dozen "government lists" I ain't living right.
