We saw the first episode last night and it looks promising enough for us to continue for a few more episodes. This is the prequel to GoT, set 200 years prior.

Having REAL problems looking at Matt Smith's character and seeing a sleezy royal family member and not Dr. Who.

Seeing him as Prince Charles in a earlier series of 'The Crown' prepared us for that.

Never watched the Crown so I don't have a transitional break.

Did they drop this all at once, or are they doing an episode a week? I want to watch it, but if the latter, I'll wait a month so I have an episode buffer. I have been spoiled by entire seasons of a show dropping at once. =)

HBO generally releases an episode or two a week.
