Time to corner the market!
-
Oh teh noes! A shortage of an inexplicably trendy, 3rd-rate hot sauce! We're doomed!
-
I'm a Cholula guy myself. I'll have to check prices next time I'm at Costco. I usually buy the two pack there, which lasts me a while because I'm a wimpy white guy. =)

Same old bullcrap. Create or take advantage of some hokey problem causing a "shortage" like weather or our warehouse burned down or epidemic or insect invasion or a volcano erupted on Gumazi Island or we lost power or a hurricane tore the roof off or whatever, and raise prices.
Price = f ( Demand / Supply ) You should remember, if the denominator gets smaller, the quotient gets bigger. They do.
Same old bullcrap. Pay more, get less.

There are other brands of Sriracha style sauce that seem to be in full stock.

I enjoy Sriracha for a few limited uses. It's definitely got a much different profile than most other hot sauces, but I'm not that crazy about it that I'm worried about a shortage.

Going to add 50 bottles to my survival stash if I can find that many. May need to get some paper towel and TP to now that I thinking about it, down to 500 rolls of PTs and 780 rolls of TP last time I checked the COVID/nuclear war bunker. Almost panic levels.
-
If you go through 50 bottles of Siracha, you should definitely get more TP. You'll need it. >:D

Check!
Get lot more TP.
Sam's! here I come!
Checked their website limit 10 cases. That's 45 rolls x 10 per trip.

50 bottles would definitely cause some pressure testing....

The Sriracha scare began in 2021/2022. One of my daughters enjoyed it and when her bottle ran out we couldnt find it anywhere. When I went to the nearby Mexican grocery to pick up a case of red jalapeƱos for my annual hotsauce they had DOZENS of bottles - current date and no dust on the bottles - so i grabbed 2. They are unopened.
Anyone got some HP 10mm they wanna trade?

I hear carbon-fiber works well for resisting pressure ...

You hear cracking?
That's not an implosion.

You hear cracking?
Do the bottles crack or craze?
-
You hear cracking?
No but your eyeballs start crazing before they actually let go. Time to Smurface.
OOPS. Sorry. MillCreek got that one in before I did.
