Pair charged in deadly home invasion.
CHESHIRE, Connecticut (AP) -- Two men were charged with burglary, arson and sexual assault for allegedly breaking into a doctor's home, forcing a hostage to withdraw cash at a bank and burning the house several hours later, killing the doctor's wife and two daughters.
What probably looked at the start as a more or less simple robbery ballooned into:
3 murders
Sexual assault
Arson, loss of home
Oh, and a forced withdrawal at a bank.
This is the sort of thing that places me firmly in the 'If they're found in your home, deadly intentions can be assumed' camp.
If it wouldn't have helped, it surely wouldn't have made it worse.
Sure it would. It would have "put another dangerous weapon out on the street."
j'k.
They should have offered them wine and group hugs.
That of course requires good wine (if you recall the article).
I'm always sure to keep a bottle of expensive wine about in case my home is ever subject to an armed assault.
