Title: Canadians not so skilled at COINTELPRO
Post by: wooderson on August 24, 2007, 12:03:04 PM
Quebec police busted trying to act as 'anarchist' provocateurs at recent economic protest: http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20070824/Montebello_undercover_070824/20070824?hub=TopStories&s_name

Note the boots on the 'protester' being arrested: why, they're exactly the same as the cops doing the arresting, only they have duct tape in random spots and some spray paint. (nb: anarchists/punk rockers/etc. duct tape boots and shoes when they're worn out, primarily from skateboarding - not for fashion)

This is like the apocryphal stories of FBI/etc. agents trying to infiltrate anti-war circles wearing loafers.

Can we fault the Canadian police for having really dorky-looking riot helmets?

Who ordered thosegrin

If you're gonna do the JBT look, at least do it right!

Canadians don't have Jack Boots.  They have Logging Boots, eh?
