Title: Coolest Metal Band Ever?

The music is not really my style of metal, it is a bit too arena rockish, but their lyrical content is pretty cool. Their album Primo Victoria has songs about the D-Day Invasion (Primo Victoria), and other military conflicts. I like it.

I guess I wasn't clear in my initial post. I think Sabaton is very cool because  quite a few of their songs deal with military conflicts. Any band from Europe that has a song called Primo Victoria about D-Day is pretty cool in my book. Also, if you go to their website all the band members are decked out in camo and carrying rifles. Excellent!

Depends: the best live band I've seen is SLAYER, by far.  However, the best metal band, that's tough.  I would likely say Pantera, but I'm a Phil Anselmo junkie (not literally).  It also kinda depends on what you're looking for,  for example, if you don't want to get beat up real bad, don't go to a slayer show, and try to get up front (always do anyways  grin).  Much as I hate to say it, because they sold out, old school Metallica is still pretty sweet.

Can anyone find a video online of them performing 1776? I can only find other people covering it.
