Yeah, I know it's a joke, and it's funny, but this bit triggers a pet peeve:
The first Thanksgiving was a celebration of gratitude by a group of early English settlers known as the Pilgrims... In a display of appreciation, when the first harvest was taken in, the Pilgrims held a huge feast and invited the Indians over for dinner...
Thanksgiving was not about thanking the Indians.
This pet peeve dates back to 1979, when a teacher commented that Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday because "it's the only Holiday we have that isn't religious." It was also when I learned that it's a bad idea to correct a teacher, especially if you're nine years old and do it by saying, "Heh, so who exactly do you think they were giving thanks to?" followed closely by, "And who do you pray to on Washington's Birthday(*), anyway?"
