Read the first paragraph, and remember it.

Young Obama supporters 'don't have a clue'

A best-selling author and investigative journalist says no one should be surprised that young Obama supporters would wave Soviet flags during election celebrations.

Dr. Jerome Corsi is the author of The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality. He spent the campaign warning voters of the extreme left-wing policies of the man who will become the nation's 44th president. But he says apparently a substantial number of young voters remain clueless.

"I watched the people in Grant Park waving communist flags, having a dancing party [in celebration of Obama's victory]," Corsi notes. "These are kids who haven't lived through [economic troubles and] don't even remember Jimmy Carter. They don't have a clue about high gasoline prices or an economy where we're saying that we've got economic malaise."

The author says young people like those in Grant Park have been indoctrinated by the left-wing education establishment.

"They've been taught socialism; they've been taught communism," he says. "[Schools] don't teach the economics that say that the Soviet Union is out of business because it was bankrupt. They don't teach the politics that say that Stalin killed...35 or 50 million of his own people."

Corsi says with the election of Obama, America unfortunately may soon be revisiting the dark days under President Jimmy Carter.

My Son is 24.  We talked about that very issue yesterday.  His comment was, "Dad, I have talked to all of the young people I know and they tell me they voted for Obama.  When I asked them why their answer was that he promises change."  When he asked them what should be changed and why, they didn't know, they just believed he was going to change things and that their lives would be better.

Scares the crap out of me.  Mindless young people rallying behind a messianic speaker who promises milk and honey for all.

I went to High School with one of the kids at Grant Park.

The author states the exact opposite of our High School education.

But it feels good to think, "They're all just brainwashed idiots," doesn't it?

I thought I read somewhere that the guys with Soviet flag were actually against Obama and had the flag to make a statement about his soscialist policies.

America has been worshipping its children--not loving them--for a long time.

We are getting what we should have expected.

People with no earned stake in America should not be controlling the future of a great nation.

My little sister's highschool class held a mock election. Only two McCain votes in her class, one of which was hers.

No, it "feels" terrible!
I've tried talking to teens, they're clueless, they really are.
I don't really blame them, I was liberal when I was a teen and "knew" Nixon started the Vietnam war (he didn't) and that JFK was a saint.
I "knew" only repubs did things like the watergate break in.

At least though, I knew who won the Civil War and when it happened and knew that I would defend my country if needed.
