It'll be interesting to hear from the women.
Specifically,I'm wondering if they'll report that the groping was no different than they've experienced before.

SFO doesn't use TSA; they use a contractor.  So, the TSA has been an un-monopoly for years.

Yup. It was probably about as invasive and humiliating as what TSA does on a regular basis, and probably just as useful in combating terrorism.
