http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2015/10/29/anonymous-intends-to-unveil-names-up-to-1000-ku-klux-klan-members.html
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/anonymous-kkk-identities_56308b60e4b0631799101e7f
I don't know if these "Anonymous" mooks are stuck in a time warp, imagining that the KKK is really a threat, or if they just plan on smearing a bunch of conservatives. Or, more likely, they want to be in the news?
I'm thinking all of the above.
-
conservatives? KKK? Say what? ???
-
Or, they found the easiest targets they could get too, and it happened to be the KKK this time.
I think a lot of who anonymous goes after has to do with availability of an online target, rather than a planned "let's get THESE guys"
In other words, anonymous stumbled upon some KKK online presence and figured out it would be easy to hack, so now they announce they are going after KKK, like it was the plan all along.
-
So they can say anyone they don't like is a member of the Klan and how is that person going to be able to prove they are not?
-
If Carson stays at the top of the current GOP polls what are the chances he is included in the list? Maybe even identified as the Grand Muckity Muck?
-
So a group named Anonymous, dedicated to breaking laws the disagree with, thinks the world has some right to know the identities of folks in an anonymous club......
Ok then
-
It's a klub.
-
So.....Anonymous is going to out a bunch of government informants?.....
-
conservatives? KKK? Say what? ???
The SJWs on failbook are really running their perjorative machine hard, aren't they?
I would love to see the names published, and see which cockroaches run away from the issue once he light gets turned on.
-
I have no problem with exposing actual KKK members. *expletive deleted*ck `em as far as I am concerned. Does that make Anonymous righteous/good? no, not at all. They are lawless vigilantes and black hat hackers who make geeks like me look bad. *expletive deleted*ck them too. [ar15]
-
So.....Anonymous is going to out a bunch of government informants?.....
I would bet there's probably less then 1000 members. And probably twice that number of informants/undercover mooks. IIRC, wasn't is during the COINTELPRO days that the FeeBee's discovered that had so thoroughly infiltrated the Klan that at least two (and I think it was more) KKK "cells" consisted of nothing but their undercover guys and informants ??

When it comes to nutball whackjobs that are a threat, the KKK is the fringe on the fringe....
-

I'm guessing it will be something like that. If it's not, then I can't see it being very impactful for the public at large. A few malcontents lose their jobs, or have trouble with black neighbors and acquaintances. And that's about it.
But they claim the KKK is committing all sorts of violent crimes. Not sure what that's about.
Dogmush, they've always been about publicizing secrets, so...

As I understand it, the Klan was put down pretty hard back in the late 19th, and at other times since then. But as soon as a bunch of racists get together and decide to start it back up again - well, they're like Anonymous in that way. That's why I have to laugh at Anonymous claiming they'll end the Klan for good. ;/ It would be great if they could.
-
conservatives? KKK? Say what? ???
Historically aren't most Klan members Democrats?
-
I said "conservatives" because, if Anon makes false accusations against people who've never been involved with the Klan, who do you think they'll target?
-
Historically aren't most Klan members Democrats?
Hey, no facts in this discussion!!
-
It's a klub.
Heh.
So.....Anonymous is going to out a bunch of government informants?.....
Sort of like the online jailbait.
It would be interesting to see Anonymous go after groups of folks who have done actual damage to America, rather than unicorns in pointy hats.

With a declining membership, today's Klan is desperately trying to broaden its appeal . . .

Winner winner.

Yeah, I'm guessing that if nothing comes of it, it's because the percentage of informants outed is higher than the actual members, or there's too many FBI assets exposed, and the FBI threatened/asked Anonymous to back off.

Who else besides David Duke?

Who else besides David Duke?
The great late Grand Klaxon Klegal Exalted Cyclops (or whatever the title) Robert Byrd (D).

Sadly, the former Democratic Senate Majority Leader is no longer among the living.

Sadly, the former Democratic Senate Majority Leader is no longer among the living.
But he is probably still a registered voter somewhere.
I imagine there are still plenty of racists out there, but I bet most are either 1) not dumb enough to join a group like the KKK, or 2) aren't the right color to be admitted.

Accusations sans evidence, and no one's on the hook to provide evidence. Heck, that's pretty neat. Let's all get in on the act.
-
A black friend of mine went all "THE KKK IS RECRUITING IN RECORD NUMBERS !!!! AND ARE GOING TO KILL EVERYONE NOT WHITE !!!!!" with all these links to whackadoodle anti-KKK sties.
After spending two weeks in SC (to include a week in Charleston where I went to Mother Emmanuel Church, where all types of people were stopping to pay their respect. ) Not once did anyone try to recruit me to the KKK. I never saw any signs of any racism and I was pretty much all over, to include going to places that aren't big tourist sites.
I was told because I was white, I wouldn't see it. ;/ ;/ ;/
-
Anonymous has said that that release wasn't them, and is incorrect. This would be the pro let with giving credence to a loosely affiliated group that hides their identity. Is the list Anonymous, or is the denial?
Or, since the list released includes openly pro gay policritters, did the KKK release a false flag list to take credibility from any subsequent lists?

They were supposed to recruit you by calling you in with silent dog whistles.

Then you have this in Oklahoma. Husband of a mayor of a Podunk town in BFE.

Anything to keep the KKK and "racism" in the news cycle is the goal. It has to be continually talked about as if it is a problem. Doesn't matter if it is a problem it just needs to have the appearance of being a problem by being in the news all the time.

For the left, it is always 1963.

Here's the list

looks like anyone can accuse anyone, and remain "anonymous". What a great opportunity to slander your enemy, and get away with it. Mayor of Ocala FL was accused on this list, until the anonymous group had to admit that they really had nothing on him, and it the original accusation was done from unvetted and 'anonymous' sources.

Just need to create a diverse and inclusive name like 'Poverty Law Center of the South' and you can get government contracts to finger anyone you like as terrorists.
-
Hard to believe it's been over a month since Anonymous revealed all the Kluckers in our midst, and shook America to it's very foundations. I just wish things would get back to normal. :'( ;)

There's probably about 600 names at most on that list. Out of a population of 300+ million. And while they may be scumbags, last I checked they aren't hurting anyone, anymore. Having some websites to spew they vitriol and hate? Who cares?
Meanwhile, I ran across this name:
Bubba Pryzyborski

I guess the Klan is becoming more inclusive by recruiting Southern, Polish Catholics...

All Republicans, aren't they? (typical liberal libel; probably has nothing to do with Anonymous) I'm pretty sure IRL, KKK members tend to be Democrats. Real Republicans have other problems.

If John Cornyn thought it was politically important to join the KKK, he would. That guy is a snake. Radio in Houston parodies his political commercials with John Wayne McCornyn commercials.
That said, I really doubt he would join something like that. High risk for no gain. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of those elitist scumbags in DC agree with the KKK on some things, but none of them would be stupid enough to join in this day and age.

Yes. Papists, along with Blacks and Jews were what was ruining the country.
