Title: "Remove Physician Statue From NYC Park: Right or Wrong?"

Marion Simms is considered the father of gynecology for inventing a cure for vesicovaginal fistulas, among other things.  A woman with a vesicovaginal fistula constantly has urine dripping from her vagina.  Now activists are demanding his statues be taken down.  Why?  Because he developed the surgery by experimenting on enslaved women with the disease (after several years of experimentation he cured them).  Simms reported that the women consented to be subjects in the experiments in hope of obtaining a cure; he trained them to assist in the surgeries.
