No, it isn't according to Cal Fire.

Friends of mine from Sonora literally fell off the face of the earth about 2 weeks ago. Her, her husband, and her daughter, and I was worried that they had gotten wiped out. Now I'm thinking that they're just traveling. At least I hope they're traveling.
