Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the terrrrrrisssts aren't bothering with guns. They're just driving over people. It happened again today, in New York City.

Why spend hundreds of dollars and go through background checks to buy a gun when you can go to any U-Haul (or Home Depot, in this case) outlet and rent a lethal weapon for $19 a day with just a driver's license?

The earliest reports I heard on this said the guy was shooting from the vehicle. While it doesn't bring back any of the slain, or heal the injured, I was relieved to hear it was "just" vehicular homicide.
Oh, and hey, did you know it's easier to rent a deadly assault truck in the United States, than to vote? Or buy Sudafed?

I've heard on the radio that it was just a pellet and paintball gun.

The left really doesn't like it when they're on the receiving end. Apparently the NY driver got into the U.S. from Uzbekistan through the visa lottery program, which was a Chuck Schumer creation back when he was in the House. Trump tweeted a criticism of the program. Democrat Adam Schiff responded with this gem:
"To use this tragedy in that way to push an agenda is not what the president ought to be doing right now," he said, per USA Today.

So why is it okay for the Democrats (up to and including Obama when he was President) to use EVERY shooting as an excuse to push for more [useless] gun control, but it's not okay for Trump to mention a dumb program that allowed an Islamist terrorist into the U.S.?

I mean, come on. You'd think, if they believed the Vegas shooter to be alive, they'd make a cursory check to see what was actually being done with him before they ran the piece. You don't need tinfoil on your head to think they did this intentionally, just to feed the ongoing anti-Trump insanity.
