Different party; at least with regard to the mindless and mechanical voting.

I find it odd that they 1) start the article by quoting some random guy who is likely a Democrat, then 2) ignore the fact that the Republicans have foisted some really terrible candidates on voters in the past and I bet they never said anything like that about them.
