The S. African gov is planning to start confiscating land from white farmers with no compensation.

I think there have been reports that black South Africans have been running about, taking the farms anyway, before this happened. Or at least, there's been a spate of farmers being murdered.

Looks like Australia, land of strict immigration policies, is going to make some exceptions and allow white (specifically) South Africans into Australia on a fast track, due to the whole confiscating land/murder thing. Good on them I say. I'd be willing to bet Ds in congress here would kibosh a similar program in the US because it would be racist.

Some years back on one of the gun forums an individual purportedly from RSA alluded to restrictions on traveling abroad for certain professions, specifically medical - IIRC, the guy was an EMT. Does anyone know whether or not RSA's current "government" actually IS trying to restrict emigration of some specific classes of professionals?
