Save this link the next time someone starts telling you how inexpensive and well managed European health case systems are.
The system is only as good as the Govt employees running it. And ask yourself what their incentive is to run it well.

Rationing with socialist healthcare is inevitable.
Whoever pays for the care will decide just how much of it your are going to get.
And maybe if it will include overdoses of morphine also to save them money and free up beds. :-X

Was it only the elderly who had no next-of-kin who were targeted?
If not, how are those involved still breathing? Is the English gene pool really that dilute?

Sounds more like a serial killer to me. Not the first of this style in the UK or USA.
There was one in the UK that tripled their homocide rate for one year because they counted all his murders in the year he was discovered. His thing was getting into their wills for substantial proceeds, then killing them. He was caught when he started faking wills.
And the USA has a problem with over prescribing opioid medicine as well, addicts from that is what is largely fuelling our heroin epidemic.
