Title: It is, in fact, legal for the POTUS to do the things he's legally allowed to do

Interesting that in the AP article ( https://apnews.com/3a20abe305bd4c989116f82bf535393b/Court-upholds-Trump-travel-ban,-rejects-discrimination-claim ) they proclaim that the ban was upheld by "the conservative majority." I find it interesting that when Kennedy votes their way he's portrayed as "the swing vote," but when he votes the other way he's a conservative, and part of "the conservative majority."

The sad part to me was that this got all the way to the SC. That 4 SC Justices voted against it is criminal.

This; it's not even a question of interpretation. The power is explicitly at the discretion of the Executive.
