So I filled it out.  Ended with

"Given that you very evidently are ignorant of the technology, of the history, and current law, and given that your side does not act in good faith, and is uninterested in genuine compromise, why should we engage in conversation with you?"

I'm just too civil.  I don't see this going anywhere good.

I suspect they don't really want to hear my opinion since I believe that disarming a law abiding individual does not make them safer.  Hard to get past that.
