I know it would be a bit of a drive for him, though.
I came home to a lovely email from the senior talent acquisition scout asking if I have ever thought of moving to Boise, since they sure would like it if I became the Director of Risk Management for the St. Alphonsus system. St. Alphonsus is the large healthcare system in Boise, and I did some risk management consulting for them a few years back. I must have made an impression.
The wife said it would be a wonderful idea for me to move to Boise, and she could stay here and take care of the house. She seems strangely eager for me to pursue this opportunity......

We'd be happy to have you! Though housing prices in Boise proper are getting up there with your neck of the woods. Still some good deals within a 30 min drive though. It would be Boise proper? I see big St Alphonsus buildings all over the metropolitan area.

(Yeah, there's another guy down there who mysteriously hit critical yesterday/today. DR insists it's not any more than usual for tourists. TV reporters on CH 2 are suggesting various cautions, like drink only what you brung, or carefully watching what the barkeep pours, use your own sunscreen, etc.)
