Isn't she a British citizen? Criminal activity aside, wouldn't she be "safer" in the UK? There's always extradition, but I think that takes a while even with countries we're cozy with. Plus, wealthy as she is, she would have more choices for ways to get to non-extradition countries from the UK than from the US.

I don't even really dig into this too much and wow is this a mess. I think she is the key figure, not Epstein. To read about her father it is impossible to think he was just a rich businessman that was good at scams. Where was he buried and who came to his funeral? She knows where all the bodies are, still got the shovel.

You have to wonder. (Well, okay, you don't have to wonder ... but I do.) The house was paid for in cash, and the buyer was an anonymized LLC. The realtor said she never spoke with Maxwell, that she dealt with a male with a British accent.
Coincidence? The U.S. Attorney for New York is replaced, and just days later Maxwell is miraculously located and arrested. Hmmm ...

Peace Institute up in Minnesota, which was being pushed heavily by then-governor Rudy Perpich after Gorby visited the state. Maxwell was supposed to endow it with 50 million, and the people of MN were supposed to cough up another 50 million. Never did get an answer as to what Gorby was going to provide.
In fact, never did get an answer as to what this "Peace Institute" was actually supposed to do with 100 million, other than "work for peace" or "do peaceful things."
People of MN didn't cough up the dough, which caused some outrage on Gov. Rudy's part. And then Maxwell kicked the bucket by falling off his yacht (HA!) just as it was being disclosed that this rich guy's liabilities seemingly exceeded his assets, leading people to conclude that perhaps he wasn't quite as rich as he led on.
And now Maxwell's daughter was allegedly (got to use that word) involved with Epstein & his . . . practices.

Did a little digging around on that site and it appears you are right. The article itself about Maxwell having caught the beer virus was written in a very serious tone. However, looking at many other article headlines on that site, most appear to be parody and satire.

The second site debunking the notion that John Roberts flew on the Lolita Express really didn't offer any evidence one way or the other. They cited a meme cum Facebook post from some years ago, but that was all. If the flight logs are really available, they should have been able to dig up the pages in question to prove there was no John Roberts listed. Barring that, they should have offered some solid evidence that the pages with John Roberts listed on them were fake. Or that the John Roberts listed is not the same person as the SC Chief Justice.
Not the best fact checking.

There is now some belief that Maxwell was a powermod & early user on reddit, and the first to reach 1 million karma there. Since these speculations began, it appears that reddit is beginning to permaban users who post in threads about it, and the account in question is being scrubbed of all pedophilia related posts as well, apparently.

I'm not sure what she thought she could accomplish with security guards against an arrest warrant, other than get them arrested or shot. Definitely in the purview of her attorneys, not gunslingers.

There is that, and it's a valid concern, actually. I should have been more clear in that I was speaking directly to the arrest warrant, which she knew had to be coming. Guards to protect her from Hillary, lawyers to interact with the cops with the warrant.

Don't forget that these people are some of the slimiest of scumbag slime-balls we're talking about. There is no honor among them. Anyone holding the dead-man switch hole cards might decide to hold that info to help save their own rotten hide.
The only reason I want to see Maxwell kept alive is so that she can testify against her "clients". Unfortunately that will probably involve some sort of leniency/immunity deal for her. If it weren't for that they could send her to hell via express elevator tomorow and I wouldn't shed a tear.

It's well known that Trump ran into Epstein and Maxwell repeatedly at social events they all attended in Palm Beach, Florida. Also remember that Trump banned Epstein from his properties after he was observed behaving inappropriately with a teenage girl.
It's possible that this is an attempt to get out in front of the associations and insinuations the press is sure to make about Trump and Epstein as the campaign progresses. However, the way the press behaves, the optics of this recent statement by Trump will be bad regardless. It's lose/lose for Trump no matter what he says or does.
