The Politico has blown the lid off of the GREATEST TERRORIST THREAT the USA faces.
Yes, the US government is finally recognizing the danger that White Supremacists present to our country.
“This draft document seems to be consistent with earlier intelligence reports from DHS, the FBI, and other law enforcement sources: that the most significant terror-related threat facing the US today comes from violent extremists who are motivated by white supremacy and other far-right ideological causes,”
Don't worry, our best and brightest in the FBI, DHS and other law enforcement sources are on the case.

All three documents note that 2019 was the most deadly year for domestic violent extremists since the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995.
“Among DVE [domestic violent extremist] actors, WSEs [white supremacist extremists] conducted half of all lethal attacks (8 of 16), resulting in the majority of deaths (39 of 48),” the drafts read.
39 deaths in 8 attacks is tragic, but does that really constitute a major terrorist threat? Chicago alone could rack up that many kills in a couple months.
Two former top DHS political appointees told POLITICO last month that White House national security officials shied away from addressing the problem and didn’t want to refer to killings by right-wing extremists as domestic terrorism.
Perhaps they were workplace violence like the Ft Hood murders.

Since these are draft reports, I imagine someone in DHS released copies of reports that were going to be rejected at a higher level. Can an employee be fired for playing politics like that?
