Dallas towing company tows and auction active servicemember's cars in violation of SCRA. U.S. Department of Justice takes notice.

Towing companies have a lot of legal power and leeway in Texas. It appears this bunch has made a habit of weaponizing that power. According to Yelp and Google reviews, they were a repugnant bunch of low-lifes trolling for easy targets and exhibiting no sense of equity or responsibility in the process. They finally prodded the wrong bull and figured they'd laugh their way out of it. They're about to find out the world of hurt the DOJ can rain down on them.

Well, one can only hope they destroy the business, raze the buildings to the ground, and salt the parking lot afterwards.

Towing companies that play fast and loose with the rules are right up there with careless bounty hunters in folks I hope die in a fire.
