Title: How Much Food Will a Bag of Meth Buy?
Post by: Ben on October 30, 2020, 01:20:09 PM
Guy breaks into church to steal money for food because his homeless family is starving to death. Police track him down at the hotel where he, his wife, their seven kids and dog are staying. They find bags of meth he claimed he was going to sell for food money, but also find the pipe he was doing the meth with. His wife claims their seven kids had to share one hamburger and that's all they got to eat for the day.

I was just wondering how much food a baggie or whatever of meth could buy. I googled it and a site called drug times (great, I'm on a list now) says a gram goes for around $80. An 8lb bag of pinto beans is $6 at Walmart. $6x12bags=$72(plus tax) = 96lbs of beans.

You ask too many questions.

I think food for their kids takes a distant second behind the meth.

Depending on where they are, some cities have voucher programs where homeless families can live in apartments or hotel rooms.
