LOL, how about it, pop culture is pretty much all propaganda and the manufacturing of consent to drive leftist ideology.
Some on the right start using the same toolset the left has used to dominate the country with the last 50+ years and there is shrieking and panic.

In that everything not Super-Ultra-Woke is right wing racism this article has some truth.
But what people who spread this kind of crap around are doing (intentionally or not) is normalizing actual racism and reducing the cultural aversion to it.
If an average person - who finds something even slightly less woke like old episodes of the Simpson’s amusing - is damned for laughing at such stereotypes of races and cultures (except uncouth, overweight, stupid, white, American men - it is good and meet that we laugh at that stereotype because it is always true), that person may start to shrug and say: “Okay, if racism is laughing at funny jokes I guess I am racist.” This will mean they will be less likely to react to real racism, because they themselves have been constantly and wrongly accused of it. In fact, they may begin to feel defensive of evil people because they have been forced together with them so often that they become part of a default tribe.
In addition, for someone to take an honest look at our current political landscape and then point to right wing extremism as the clear and present danger takes severe ideological possession.
And as Ron said, use of pop culture to drive extremism has been the almost exclusive realm of the left.

This is what I got out of the language in the article. I'm pretty sure that 90% of APS members fall under this definition of "far right white supremacist extremism". People like the author include groups like the Three Percenters as white supremacists, when in fact those groups have a good number of "people of color" in them. Actual white supremacists, I suspect, are a very, very small percentage of the population and never seem to be identified in MSM reporting.
It's much easier for them to just target anyone with a Gadsden flag or a tshirt with an American Flag or patriotic saying on it.

I agree with Ron. I had read some books over the years on the development and use of WW II propaganda, and Cold War psyops, and the first thing I though upon reading the article was that the techniques described in the article are by no means new and are used by all sides.

I don't think actual white supremacists numbers would actually qualify to be a percentage.

I just realized that the left has a fascination with miniscule percentages of the population. I'm betting the percentage of "White Supremacists" is along the lines of the percentage of the "Trans" people.

Agreed.
Also, I don't really have any idea how this works, but do people of the left honestly believe that anyone who say, opposes unrestricted open immigration are all people who also believe that the white race is inherently superior? (aka, classic definition of racism) I suspect so, but in reality I think very, very few - probably less then 1 in 1000 - conservatives who oppose open immigration are actually racists by classical definitions.
It's strange - I don't think I know anyone that I consider an actual racist. But, as definitions have slid, I suspect that many people would consider my and most other conservative or libertarian viewpoints to be racist.
