That fatwa against him is still in place, I think.
-
Is it premature to start praising the Religion of Peace?
-
"That fatwa against him is still in place, I think."
Nope. Iran's leadership lifted the fatwah in 2000 or thereabouts. I remember some putz trying to link the lifting of the fatwah to the 9/11 attacks when some were trying to link it to the Iranian government.
-
They're saying he may lose an eye. Sounds like the perp did quite a number on him.
-
Judge a man by his enemies.. Here's to a swift recovery for Mr. Rushdie and damn the boy loving goat rapists.

It's a good thing there were police there to protect him, or who knows what might have happened?

I hate it when the Bingo game goes bad...

For some once a fatwah always a fatwah.

The initial appearance is that the assailant is indeed a fatwah kind of guy.

I sincerely hope the martyr will be suitably rewarded with 72 Virginians in Heaven.

Nah. I think it has to do with 9/11.

Very good. That'd be 36 double-taps. Would be 24 triple-taps if he had another orifice.

I'm not sure you understood the reference. My bad -- I neglected to follow Terry's Law.

The Virginians joke was self-explanatory.
My remarks about double taps was an erotic reference.
Kind of abstruse, so forget it. I thought it was the new style for APS to throw stuff out that was off the wall.

Bolognese or Bojangles. Mandolins aside, anvils wouldn't lift the lawnchair!

Islam had nothing to do with this! Islam is a religion of peace.
-
I read somewhere that Iranian government is not endorsing a fatwa, only the spiritual leaders of Iran endorse the fatwa.
Also, the bounty is supposed to be around three million, but I'm not sure how much or how to collect it ....
-
Islam had nothing to do with this! Islam is a religion of 93% peace.
Better?

Let's send a message to the religion of peace. Execute the attacker.

Now now, you shouldn't judge another non-Christian non-western culture

I vote for "high altitude repatriation".
Fly the convicted criminal to his country of origin and eject him from the aircraft, no parachute needed. Bonus points for the pilot and "bombardier" if they "eject" the subject over a terrorist/cartel location.

All that will do is make him a glorious martyr.
As happy as I am that he was killed, I really think it would have been a lot more wonderful had Osama Bin Laden ended up spending the rest of his life in Florence, Colorado, in solitary.
