Title: More Reparations Insanity

Barbados is considering lawsuits against the descendants of slave owners on that island, demanding reparations from them. They're looking - naturally enough - at people who are wealthy today.

One of the people they're considering suing is actor Benedict Cumberbatch, whose family allegedly owned slaves.

Slavery ended in Barbados back in 1834, certainly long before Cumberbatch's grandfather was born.

My father's side came to the US from Barbados in the late 1600s and I do know that one distant US relative owned a couple of slaves but we are FAR from rich!

The amount of money you have is barely relevant, it is the color of your skin that is most important in the reparations game.

Yeah, Barbados.  Go ahead and drive all the white people off the island.

It worked out so well for Haiti.

But in typical lib fashion the solution is always to do more of what is obviously not working.
