The 2023 Everytown rankings for state gun laws are out. Hurray! I live in a national failure!!!  =D

The chart is more enlightening if you change the sort to gun violence rate. It becomes obvious that there isn't  very strong correlation between the strength of a state's gun laws and the same state's gun violence rate.

Once again, they lump suicides in as gun violence.

If you look at murder rates versus gun laws there is no correlation>

Texas got Constitutional Carry.  I would have thought we would get better.

Texas got Constitutional Carry.  I would have thought we would get better.

I'm glad Missouri beat Texas, but being ranked 12th best is disappointing.

Damn !!  IL-ANNOY comes in at #7 !!  Shows how restrictive our "illustrious democrat leadership" is when it comes to certain "civil rights".  [barf]
