Title: Ghost Gun Manufacturing Lab
Post by: Ben on January 25, 2023, 05:07:49 PM
Does anyone else think they're using the term, "ghost gun manufacturing lab" to equate it to stuff like meth labs?

And what a scary lab it is.

A rusty beatup harbor freight benchtop drill press, a 3d printer, a harbor freight hobby knife set, a lower and a jig, some slides and mags.  I had better tools in my apartment when I was his age.  :P

Oh and a scale + bag of weed.  Which is probably legal, but maybe not in conjuncture with the guns in CA.

"...a vast amount of guns..."

Such as what? Half a dozen? How many were assault pistols?

Not even a half dozen. Two handgun frames, one AR lower, size handgun slides, NO barrels, and what looks like a mold for casting AR-15 resin lowers.

That's not a "vast amount." All that doesn't add up to a single, functional firearm.

[Edit] I take it back. The handgun with the slide attached appears to have a barrel. So maybe one functional firearm.

Regulating the manufacture of arms whether personal or commercial is consistent with a tradition of regulating such at the time the 2nd Amendment was debated and ratified?

No, but that doesn't seem to stop the politicians.  And people keep voting for them  :P
