Title: Defund the Police pol wants extra police protection for his car.
Post by: WLJ on February 04, 2023, 11:18:41 AM
A car belonging to a LA city councillor who campaigned on a pledge to abolish the police broke down. He then requested police protection of his car while it sat in a lot.
Hard to miss the irony but it fits a pattern.

'Defund the Police' LA City Council member asks LAPD for EXTRA patrols around his office after his car broke down and had to be left in the parking lot overnight

I do not believe for one nanosecond that a low-level staff person called the police to request extra patrols without authorization or direction from the boss. As far as I'm concerned, this clown is just throwing his staff under the proverbial bus now that he has been caught in his hypocrisy.
