My dear, sweet Mother...

My dear sweet mother and her penchant for saving things can be, well... a little embarrassing sometimes.  In celebration of my recent birthday she dug up these little gems.

And the obligatory "Mullet and scraggly beard" shot

It's all about the pancakes, people.

If your maternal granny is still around, talk to her about your Mom . . . maybe granny saved some pictures, too.  grin

I'm patient, first time my 3 month old girl gives me trouble or gives her future boyfriend trouble out will come the picture from her diaper rash experience, the one where she is getting her ass dried with a hair dryer. Cheesy

Nice mullet!

I'm so contrarian that I didn't respond to the thread.

Anybody want to volunteer to put a bullseye on that picture. I'll do my part by shooting them.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

My mother got disappointed by the "embarrassing photos" trick.

One day, after Spoon and I had been together for awhile, mom dragged out the naked baby pictures. Spoon looked, then deadpanned to mom "Yeah... I know what he grew into. These aren't anything I haven't already seen". At which point mom hit me...

I tried to embarass my father, found an old picture of him dressed up as Frank-N-Furter from Rocky Horror.  Didn't work, as he is proud of it.  On a sidenote, my eyes only bled a little.

Man, I wish I'd had a dad who'd be proud of dressing up as Frank-n-furter. I'm trying to picture that now and it just isn't working for me. laugh
