I had all four of my wisdom teeth out in spring of 1988.  They were all impacted and had to be chiseled out.  Ick.  A couple months later I had a tiny, razor sharp piece of tooth come out the side of my gum.  It had worked its way through over a quarter inch of tissue only to lodge right under the surface and proceed to become infected.  That was a friggin' blast, too.

Finally!

I woke up this morning and my jaw doesn't really hurt anymore. It's still tender, but I was having a lot of lingering pain (achiness, really) from the extraction.

Plus my sinuses were in an uproar and that was contributing to the feeling.

About time.
