Here's a nauseating "public service announcement" that we have been hearing on the radio in these here parts.  Flaming flap-doodle, but it's smug.  Is this playing in other markets, too?

Nope.  That is pretty obnoxious.

Not quite as obnoxious as some of the doozies that come up around here, though.  Being in the Portland media bubble lends for some...interesting advertisements.

The first couple of times I heard it, I just KNEW it had to be a spoof.  And I was confused when there was no punch-line.  First the snooty, suburban, soccer-mom busy-body voices.  Then the "recycle or die" stuff.  That's the stuff they were telling us in school, back in 1990.  Do people still think recycling is really that important? 

They definitely need a new marketing department.
