Ok, so I'm on this committee at work to help plan a company event. They wanted a member of the technical, blue collar staff to help out with it, and my company is big on participation.
Anyway, my assignment is to help design the shirt. We have a "wellness" campaign going where we all wear pedometers and log how much we walk. The goal is that as a company we log enough steps to "walk around the world." Hence the theme of the shirt; we want something along the lines of a globe motif with some footsteps around it. It would be doing on either a nice-ish polo shirt, or plainer long sleeve t-shirt type.
I'm way out of my element here. I fix air handlers and repair light fixtures all day; sitting in a little conference room with a bunch of female office worker types (committee total: 9 women, and me....) discussing themes and what kind of performance artists to book.... I need help, badly.
I'm asking for this as a favor, but if we end up using your design this could turn into a paying gig. How much? I have no clue; I'll take advice on going rates too.
Anything would be really appreciated. We meet on Thursday, but if you all could whomp something up tomorrow it would really help me out. Thanks APS; I know you won't let me down.
