A few dogs
« on: March 03, 2005, 10:18:52 PM »
I will start off by saying that a moderator of another forum told me to post here. Secondly i wouldn't usually ask ,but my situation dictates that i work quickly.

Now, my dog had puppies last night. Any other time this would be simply amazing, but my mum and stepfather are getting divorced, and were moving. Meaning we can't take the dogs/puppies with us. Their Border Collie/Blue Heeler Mix puppies and their parents are a female Collie/male blue Heeler. the male also has some kind of Australian cattle dog [forgot the specific name] in him as well.

Now the question is. Would anybody in Tennessee want 2 great cattle dogs, and possibly 5-7. They'd all be free, of course, and they all seem in good health. were going to try and hold on to them for six weeks, so they can be away from their mother, and get them to transport[a thing our local veterinarian does] if we can't find homes. Also i say 5- because theirs 7 now, and it doesn't look like their are a enough spots for the puppies to feed. I will have pictures later today.

P.S sory if this shouldn't be posted here.

P.S. I live in middle Tennessee, roughly 30 minutes from Columbia, 45 from Lawrenceburg.

I would take at least a couple if I were closer.  These would make great dogs for anyone needing a good farm dog or just a good companion or pet.

Pass this around a bit if you know anyone close.  We should be able to help these good dogs find homes.

Make a sign and take them to the nearest Wal-Mart parking lot....you'll have them given away by evening...

Me and my mum are thinking about walmart, but aren't sure if it's a good idea. the people are here aren't always that nice to their dogs.

I'd give it a few days here before you give up hope....a lot of our posters are weekday guys and gals only...

Oh, and I have one Border Collie now- that's enough!!!
One day at a time.

WE have to wait a while to get rid of them still. A little less than 6 weeks specifically.
