I thawed out a bunch of venison steak tonight.
Tomorrow, I'll cube and brown it, then it'll go into the crock pot with a bag of Carroll Shelby's Texas Chili Fixins, plus my usual garlic, onion, green peppers, kidney beans and homemade tomato sauce.
Time to chow down on all the venison and elk in my freezer. The season for fresh stuff is approaching soon (later this month for a 3-day doe permit). ;D
