Spanning something where it's going to be either difficult, impossible, or inconvenient to put center piers or another type of bridge.

My Father was a highway engineer for over 20 years and I saw a LOT of those kinds of beams go into place.

That one obviously wasn't secured correctly in either the front or rear cradle, and it torsioned while being moved.

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Sorry for not getting back sooner.   A section of the highway had been washed out for some time now.  Since the cradling failed during transport, the project has been stalled for most of the summer.
