CBS radio is taking it over in January. Yahoo says that CBS will maintain most of the features, but some really useful ones are going away.
Worst of all, though, is that the no commercials feature, which costs $30 a year, is also going away so that CBS can run advertisements.
The ONLY reason why I picked Launchcast was because I could pay a fee to get rid of the commercials.
I'm not at all happy. I suspect, despite Yahoo's claims, that within a matter of months it's going to be nothing more than a bunch of CBS lite stations matching what they play on their generally crappy radio stations, and all of the genre stations are going to go away.
Sigh.
