So I'm driving home from the Dr.
« on: January 09, 2009, 11:32:54 PM »
On the radio they anounce that a DEA officer has been shot in the leg while serving a warrant.  The article goes on to say that it was a "friendly fire incident".

I'm trying to drive while the picture is going thru my head of a guy with dreadlocks saying "I'm the only one in this room qualified to handle a Glock 40".

Had to share.

I guess they're all so het up to shoot somebody that eventually it doesn't matter whether it's someone from their side or the other side.
It's a strange world. Some people get rich and others eat *expletive deleted*it and die. Dr. Hunter S. Thompson

Just goes to show you we need more laws.

Our radio scanner is our primary entertainment out here ;)
Freedom is a heavy load, a great and strange burden for the spirit to undertake. It is not easy. It is not a gift given, but a choice made, and the choice may be a hard one. The road goes upward toward the light; but the laden traveller may never reach the end of it.  - Ursula Le Guin
