I have some audiobooks on my PC in mp3 format. Each chapter is about an hour long, and about a 50-60mb file. The problem is, only about 3 minutes of each mp3 is accessible. All of the media players, and my iPod only show the mp3s as being about 3 minutes long. Even right clicking on the files themselves and going to Properties shows them as having a length of only a few minutes. I only know the full audio is there because if I open one in Audacity, it shows the full track. Then I can re-encode it as a new mp3, and low and behold, the full audio mp3 works. The only problem is, it takes Audacity about 15 minutes to open each mp3, and about 30 to encode the new mp3 for each chapter. Is there any program out there that can streamline this, do the files as a batch, or just quicker in general?
