I've been watching some shows lately about natural disasters and their impact on infrastructures. I got to thinking... Illegal immigration impacts infrastructures in a lot of similar ways to natural disasters. Especially in the line of public health, housing, public transport, taxes, and finances on every level (which would cross over with less obvious results of natural disasters such as impacts on agriculture, law enforcement, energy, etc).
I'm tossing the theory around in my mind. It's natural (for anyone to want to get out of a third world country). It's a disaster (although hotly debated). The only real difference is the ease with which we can explain the occurrence.
Do I sound like an idiot. I just reread this and it sounds like the Mike's Hard Pomelemo might be talking.
