My favorite "method of extraction" we use is making captured Al Qaeda foot soldiers listen to the Sesame Street theme song till they are literally sitting on the floor with glazed eyes and drooling. The leftists say it's torture, my response is then why do you let your children watch such smut? But seriously, I think that's a more effective measure of gaining information because 1: it would become extremely annoying and frustrating 2: if they're awake for three days they might not mentally be able to effectively give you the intelligence you need to get from them, and if you let them sleep and try again when they wake up, you're just wasting time by restarting the whole procedure. But I have no CIA training and am not an expert on interrogating scumbags I just know it's one form of 'torture' we use, well that and I enjoy the idea of a CIA operative walking into a room full of zombies and saying in Arabic "Alright kiddies, who wants to talk? No one? Alright, I'll check back with you guys in six hours then."

I laughed. This isn't little Johnny Smith stole a candy bar from the local general store bud. What makes you think they deserve due process? We treat them like enemy infantrymen when we don't even have to, that's quite kind in my book seeing as how under the Geneva Convention if I'm not mistaken we don't have to and where you got the idea they deserve luxury of due process in a courtroom is beyond me.

And the people whom you are detaining are not necessarily the kind of people who would do that. That is exactly why you need a standard of proof and a trial, to separate the terrorists from the innocents.

I refuse to watch these vids... I watched one once and it's burned into my memory.  Another thing, why don't these guys fight?  He doesn't look restrained.  If I saw them whip out the knife I'd be fighting, biting, and punching until they killed me.. even if you don't kill any of them breaking one of their noses before they kill you would ruin their propaganda film.

The Germans and Japanese we fought in WWII were mostly civilized (which the Islamo Fascist terrorists are not) AND not all of them were NAZI's or fanatical militarists but we bombed 'em anyway. Killed a whole lot of women and children along the way because that's what had to be done to win THAT war.

It took 6 years to bring Germany and Japan to their knees. 7 years after 9/11 we're still fighting Islamo Fascists and there's no end in sight because we Westerners just can't seem to grasp the concept that when you wrestle with a pig you're gonna get dirty.

Innocent people die in war. That is unfortunate but it is also just the way it is. The pink sky, blue bunny crowd can cry into their milk, wail about how wrong that is, and preach about the way things ought to be all they want but reality is not going to change just to suit them.

Maybe if the families of terrorists started dying they'd think twice before doing what they do. Probability is that that's doubtful to the point of there being ZERO chance of it happening.

The Islamo Fascists aren't going away on their own. They'll have to be wiped out or convinced that the consequences of their actions and the price they'll have to pay are too high to continue their barbarism.

The west will eventually accept that and adapt or we'll all end up buying prayer rugs, living under Sharia law and loving it or losing our heads.

Personally - I don't think the current crop of western leaders has the balls to do what is necessary. Too bad for our kids and grandkids.
