Term question - architects ahoy?
« on: March 25, 2009, 09:19:19 AM »
This here is a picture of a shopping mall. As you see, the structure is built around a sort of 'well' - a hole in the floors so light can reach to the very bottom of the structure. What is the name of this hole in proper parlance?

I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

It looks like a red "X" to me.

I should rephrase that.

That there (this here?) looks like a red "X" to me.   =D
"Bother", said Pooh, as he chambered another round...

Well, it doesn't look like an X...

I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I hazard a guess that it is an atrium.
