Well worth your 5 minutes of time.
De Tocqueville, pop culture, politics, culture, veiled pokes at the TSA...what's not to like?

I recently saw
300 for the first time. (Yeah, I 'm behind the times. It happens when your life is full of things like full employment, wife, children, etc.)
What struck me most was the talk of Western freedom versus Asiatic slavery.
The two lines I most recall from
300 are:
Leonidas's Wife: "What would a free man do?"
Xerxes: "Leonidas requires that you stand. I only require that you kneel."
The latter struck me as BHO's position. Kneel to him and the state and all necessities will be provided.
* Includes a clip from
300 that contains some
naughty bits. But, if one watches closely, the
naughty bits are obscured/pixelated. Luckily for me, I have found some open source "Pixelated Naughty Bit Detection" software, thus sparing me straining my sensitive eyes to see that the
naughty bits in question are truly obscured. HTH.
