I find it refreshing that every time I see one of these polls, they almost always sway in our favor.

Even when I listen to liberal talk radio, whenever the gun control topic comes up, 5:1 people call in against gun control.

And yet, certain politicians feel that the majority of Americans want stricter gun control laws.  There is a big disconnect between the typical American and Washington DC politicans.  For that matter, there is a continuous flow of gun control legislation at the state level in many states.  Eventually some stick.  The recent court ruling in Illinois does not help matters.
