Good evening, gentlemen. I've grown tired of mechanical outdoor-range shooting and wish to find a good spot of open land on which to do some target shooting on some upcoming weekend. Anyone have a favored remote place to shoot, that you wouldn't mind sharing(a PM would be welcome, if you don't want to make it public)? I'm not talking long-range shooting, by the way, I will be taking only an AK(iron sights) and two pistols. Mainly going for repetition drills and "fun" practical shooting, nothing serious. I may have a couple of friends(not "gun people") with me.
I live in Queen Creek but would drive 45 minutes or more to get to a spot remote enough to be safe, legal and courteous to the rest of the world. I have small Toyotas but a 4WD Grand Cherokee is possibly available if said friends come along :)
