No thanks, I already own a boat anchor.    =D

Is that the one where the floppy drives are in matching side-by-side bathtubs out on the lawn? And just how do they plumb those things, anyway?

Heh, those were the ones from the early TRS-80's right?

I think my Dad has a friend with a collection of those disks, and a working machine, I'll see if he needs a new drive :)

The business oriented Model II used 8-inch floppy drives.  The consumer aimed Model I and Model III used 5.25 inch floppies.

Got my first contract programming gig on a TRS 80/II with one o' those.  Also had a 12mb hard drive the size of a stereo receiver.  Mind, I was already well into my day-job career as a mainframe puke by then...

I had a DEC PDP-10 for awhile that used 8" floppies. In the late 80's I used my 286 and a null-modem crossover serial cable as a terminal for it and played with Unix.

The DEC didn't last very long, but the stash of 8" floppies were great to give to PC-illiterae people who begged me for software or files, and couldn't quite figure out the difference between an 8" and a 5.25" floppy until they brought it up to the slot on their disk drive at home.
I promise not to duck.

Maybe you can donate it to the Library of Congress or some other archival institution?

I just stopped by the Grace Hopper Museum at school.  They've already got a couple, including a dual-drive model that looks like a ginormous toaster.     They've got a bunch of skinned hard drives, too.  Wow, those platters are shiny!!

Did y'all know Grace Hopper was a Rear Admiral, and has a destroyer named after her?   :O

I've always wanted a full-sized 6250 BPI tape drive just to spin back and forth here in my office.  The computer center in my old agency used to have banks of them with reels spinning as they fed the two big siamesed IBM 4381 mainframes.  I used to write JCL for the meteorological modeling programs we ran in them, and the world's weather data arrived on those tapes via either FedEx or UPS every 6 hours, forcing us to hang them and strip the data off for the "live" met models.

I'm pretty sure my CS teacher would have married Admiral Hopper if he were born in a different time, thanks to her work with programming languages.  =D
