this came in an email....i've tried it four times and each time it worked.....don't ask me how....

Any two digit number, where the sum of the individual digits is subtracted from the number will result in a power of nine.  All the powers of 9 on the board are the same item.   =)

Took me a sec too.  Board changes every time, that was what was tricking me.
