Where is the flywheel?  Just the think for a light plane, minus the boiler of course.  :facepalm:

typically the prop will do the job of the flywheel if a ring gear for a starter is not needed.  just add a 3000 mile flex tube for cross country flights!

i love how the sound of the machinery is heard without the internal combustion process.  sounds more like an oversized sewing machine.  must be grease lubricated or those exposed pushrods would send the oil flying. guess a ring type cam was a bit complicated for a pet project like this.
