For MSNBC, the article is pretty balanced and largely devoid of hysteria.

Shocking.   =)

Very good article.

Can Kristen rand tell the truth? Is it possible?

I imagine her day goes something like:

Hi, Kristen it's really pouring rain out there!

No, it is warm and sunny.

Hey Kristen, that sandwich looks tasty!

Actually, it's a piece of chicken.

Whoa Kristen you need to slow down it's only 25 in a school zone.

FOOL! We are on a boat.

And so forth.

Now that CCW has gained so much ground it is really time for OCW to advance. It has alreadty started a little but I see it growing at a good rate over the next few years.

Rand said:
Quote
Her group posts news accounts of concealed-weapons permit holders allegedly involved in firearms deaths on a part of its Web site called “Concealed Carry Killers.” The site says 130 civilians and nine police officers have been killed and 13 mass shootings have been carried out by people with concealed-weapons permits since May 2007. Helmke, of the Brady Campaign, cited the work of Rand’s group in a recent blog post that mocked the NRA for saying concealed weapons permit holders “are all ‘law-abiding’ citizens.’”

Is there any further detail on the mass shootings, 130 dead civilians and 9 cops killed by CCW holders? She left out the most important part: whether they were justified or not.

Rand showed her ignorance when she claimed that gun manufacturers can't convince someone who owns 15 guns to buy another. From what I can tell they want to convince new people to buy guns so they will become addicted like the rest of us.  =D

also, what company doesn't advertise to minorities to make money?

Subaru does it with the gay community, where is MSNBC to complain about that?

I stopped reading after Rand's comments, as I appreciated the irony of her last name.

Oh yes they can.

The contents of my safe are proof of that.   >:D
